Gift shops in local communities offer a wide range of souvenirs, art, gifts and traveler's needs. Books, maps, compact discs and other educational materials produced by the Bryce Canyon Natural History Association are also available year round at the visitor center. Gifts: The Bryce Canyon Lodge gift shop, a Fred Harvey Trading Company store, offers a fine selection of authentic, handmade American Indian jewelry, pottery and gifts as well as film, sundries and souvenirs distinctive to Bryce Canyon. Gasoline: There are no gas stations in the park but there are several located in towns just outside the park, including Tropic. Restaurants are also located in communities outside the national park. The dining room is open April through October.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available, including children's menus. Order them from the dining room cashier by 9 p.m. Picnic sack lunches can also be prepared. Dinner is by reservation call (435) 834-8760. Hoodoo, the park newspaper published by Bryce Canyon Natural History Association, is available for visitors who want more in-depth information about Bryce Canyon. A video program is shown daily in the auditorium. Visitor Center: Open year-round, except Thanksgiving and Christmas, the center is located one mile inside the park boundary and houses a natural history museum.

A free shuttle system, included with the park's entrance fee, primarily serves the main amphitheater. Park Fees: Entrance to Bryce is $25 per car and $12 per pedestrian or bicyclist (good for seven days).
Drive through scenic Red Canyon to the top of the Paunsaugunt Plateau, then turn south onto Route 63 to Bryce Canyon National Park. Turn east on National Scenic Byway 12, an All-American Road. Both for use by day visitors and hikers alike, the shuttle is both convenient and helps reduce congestion. The Bryce Canyon Shuttle has been providing public transportation for visitors to some of the park's bests sports for over 2 decades. Depending on your provider, you may not be able to make or receive calls during your visit. Please be aware that cell service for calls or texting is extremely limited in the park. Showers: The General Store has a pay-per-shower area for men and women, open from 9:00 am to about 5:00 pm. Laundry: The General Store has a coin-operated laundry which is open from 9:00 am until about 5:00 pm (for the last load). In keeping with the park's desire to maintain its uniquely tranquil setting, our rooms do not have televisions, WiFi, or air conditioning. WiFi: Public WiFi available at the Main Lodge only Smoking Policy: The Lodge at Bryce Canyon is a nonsmoking property. Pets are only permitted on paved surfaces within Bryce Canyon National Park.
